Aluminium is placed in a clear liquid, no gas is released and the remaining Al has fine silver crystals on it.?
Does anyone know a clear liquid compound (or solid suspended in water) that would do this?
The molar mass of the liquid is 169.8.
A full word or formula equation would be very helpful..

This is a reactivity metal displacement reaction. The clue is there … the silver crystals are just that .. silver. The liquid is silver nitrate solution.[ correct molar mass]
