Fun and easy ways to make some extra wedding money?

Do any of you have some fun and easy ways to raise a little money for extra padding in the wedding budget? I’m getting married next month and all of the big stuff is paid for, but I’d feel better having a little bit extra for all of those last minute “oh crap, I forgot ___!” moments.

A yard sale would be a good idea. We have a yearly one and usually make between $400-$500 per day (2 day sale). Especially around this time of year, as kids are getting ready to go back to school and parents are looking for a good “find” as far as clothing goes.

There’s babysitting, there’s selling books on barnesandnoble.com. Or you could check around locally for consignment shops and see if they would like to buy or try to sell any of your (now unused) clothing. We have a store here called the children’s exchange and they buy all *name brand* jeans for $2-$3 a pair from the start (which is a $1-$2 more than you’ll get at a yard sale).
