Soap Favors

Is making home made soap a stinky process, and does anybody have a favoured method for producing it?

soap making is not stinky, and there are several ways – hot process — cold process —both use lye — -or you can purchase glycerin which is a by product of the hot process method (the glycerin is retained in the cold process method)

M & P is the easiest as you can purchase blocks of melt and pour soap (base) at most craft stores, where you can also purchase scents, colorants and molds — check out this link for more information

Cold process requires a little more time and precautions as you must mix together oils, water, & lye to make your soap. You can also add scent and color to it as well. A great resource on the web is:
